Just like the Web versions of HBO and Max will go through both their own web sites and portals are different provider DirecTV has announced on the web that they iPad access to them in their own applications, iPhone and select Android devices "at the same Time to start and native apps go. There is no word what restrictions may be placed on Android, if it's just Froyo or later with Flash accessibility of hardware, then that is one thing, but Netflix-style DRM tie ups could be much more frustrating to our Game of Thrones Streaming Plans. The announcement came from official Twitter account DirecTV the apps were beyond pure remote control and DVR scheduling on the same date 2 May already in the HBO trailer YouTube teased progress indicated - we will wait and see how long it needs to be integrated in a similar applications from competitors like Comcast and Verizon FiOS.

Update: We have just heard from DirecTV, that this is a war "mistweet", as it turns out they are not added HBO go their own applications and access to DirecTV customers will have the native HBO Go app like any other use.
